I want to make sure you know about a unique once in a lifetime opportunity for inner healing. I am currently attending a powerful and intensive Prophetic Heart Healing training program and in order to complete my mentorship hours, I am booking the next 24 sessions for free. These sessions are valued at $125!
It’s getting access to the full benefits of what Jesus paid for on the cross.Healing and becoming whole is a process“We don’t train for battle in times of war, but we train in times of peace.”Don’t wait till things get really bad to learn how to connect with the Lord and receiveHis healing. This is not an issue of whether we’re saved or not. Salvation is a free gift.
Working OUT our salvation is very different from working FOR our salvation. Inner healing is a tool that can we can use to partner with the Holy Spirit to renew ourminds; to step into breakthrough and freedom.
So that we can love the Lord with our whole heart, whole mind, and whole strength and soul. The Lord is after the whole heart in connection and in relationship with Him. So often we are living with broken heartedness to one degree or another. If those wounds arenot healed, they can manifest in many ways: including sadness, anger, depression, fear, anxiety, un-forgiveness, disunity, self-rejection, and self-hatred.What we believe in our mind may not be what we experience as truth in the heart, based onlife experiences (Romans 7:15 and 19).
Prophetic heart healing is about creating space for the Lord to meet with the parts of usthat desperately need that complete healing that only he can bring, so we can live from ourwhole hearts.
You can book your personal session at calendly.com/healthywholemom. But remember to book fast as I am only doing 24 sessions free and then sessions will be offered at full price.
First, a note for those of who prefer to embrace trees rather than cut them down: my favorite company responsibly sources Cedarwood essential oil from red cedar byproducts of the lumber industry. This sustainable practice translates to zero waste YES, so you can feel great about putting this grounding oil to use. Does your essential oil company do that?!
Though my favorite Cedarwood is sourced in the young nation of America, the cedar tree has been well utilized throughout the pages of world history beginning with ancient empires including the Sumerians and Egyptians, who revered the wood as sacred. Other cultures, such as the Phoenicians and Assyrians, put the sturdy wood to use in constructing strong fleets of ships for trading and naval conquest. One of the very first essential oils extracted from nature may have actually been from the cedar of Lebanon, which is mentioned in the Bible.
And get this: some varieties of cedar can reach 100 feet in height and live close to 900 years! That’s nine centuries…almost a millennium.
We could definitely stand to learn some lessons in longevity and stability from this magnificent tree, so let’s learn about the essential oil it gives us.
Cedarwood (Oil of Community)
Emotionally it helps provide support for depression, anxiety, irritability, confusion, loneliness
Warm, outdoorsy Cedarwood inspires wellness and confidence as it soothes, clarifies, and relaxes. When you need some serious grounding, or spot an opportunity to offer this gift to someone else, reach for your Cedarwood.
Because Cedarwood is high in sedative properties, it’s aroma is also useful for calming anxious feelings; inhale it from cupped hands or deliver in the form of a foot rub. You can test this diffuser recipe at a moment you know you’ll be in need of relaxation and peace. You may even be able to plan ahead for it based on your typical weekly schedule.
3 drops Cedarwood
2 drops Wintergreen
2 drops Bergamot
3 Wild Orange
Don’t be surprised if this diffuser blend transports you in the mind to a forest of tall, unwavering cedars, equipped to thrive under harsh conditions and inspiring you to do the same. Consider Cedarwood the closest you might come to accessing bottled-up determination and stability!
Cedarwood is great for the skin! Add one or two drops to your daily facial toner or moisturizer to promote healthy, glowing skin; combine with Tea Tree oil for an especially powerful skin-supporting combo. And when your skin simply needs some extra love, simply add 1-2 drops of Cedarwood to your skincare routine to soothe redness and irritation.
Before working out, massage a small amount of Cedarwood directly onto your chest to provide an added boost of vitality that can help you run that extra mile. Let this oil of the mighty cedar promote strength and wellness in multiple contexts, including times when emotional balance and a feeling of deep connection are most needed.
Here Are Some Additional Usage Tips + listen in until the end for testimonials!
Try making your own mothballs at home by placing a few drops of Cedarwood essential oil on a cotton ball. Place in pockets, in drawers, or shelves in your closet. This hack should keep your clothes smelling great and keep those moth holes off your clothes too! P.S. Add to baking soda and sprinkle over your mattresses to keep bed bugs away! Here in the northwoods, we use cedarwood essential oil to repel ticks. It is toxic to ticks, yet safe to use on people and pets. We use it in our bug spray and also on our dog’s collar. Cedarwood is definitely a top choice to protect those you love most against ticks. Lisa says, “I use it in my dog shampoo and flea and tick spray. Cedarwood is great for repelling fleas!”
A study conducted by the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, tested a mix of 30 percent lemon eucalyptus essential oil against two other natural repellents, in addition to DEET. The various mixtures were put on trial against Anopheles darlingi, the mosquito that is the primary vector of malaria in Bolivia. Two of the natural repellents, one made from the Neem tree and another from a mix of essential oils, were found to be ineffective at preventing mosquito bites. A 15 percent DEET compound performed better, providing about 85 percent protection from bites. However, the lemon eucalyptus oil was the best repellent of the bunch, resulting in 97 percent protection over four hours!
You Will Need:
Add all oils and glycerin to a 4 oz spray bottle. Mix well, then add witch hazel and mix well. Fill to top with water. Shake well before each use.
Cut essential oil amounts in half and double the witch hazel. Top with water and spray before going outdoors.
USING ESSENTIAL OILS FOR BUG BITE RELIEF? Try lavender for soothing, basil for inflammation, or peppermint to cool and distract from the itch. Apply topically on the affected area.SING
Cedarwood is excellent to stop a busy brain when you want to sleep. Not only does it promote restful sleep but it and helps with GABA production. When paired with Lavender you get a wonderful synergistic effect that is great in your nighttime diffuser or topically on the back of your neck, bottoms of feet or even across your forehead.
Mix Cedarwood with Vetiver and Lavender and apply along their spine and feet with a carrier oil. A 2001 study done by Dr. Terry Friedman found that Cedarwood oil was effective in its use in children with hyperactivity and attention issues. The case study was conducted for two years (1999-2001), and it involved 40 children between 6 and 12 years old. Twenty of the children did not have a diagnosis of any kind — they served as the control group — and 20 children were diagnosed.
As you begin to use Cedarwood for its grounding abilities and blend it with other oils, think herbal oils (like Clary Sage) as well as other woody oils (such as Cypress, Frankincense, or Sandalwood); and you might even try blending it with Lemon for a distinctively uplifting effect.
Thank goodness that Cedarwood, with a history as rich as its woody aroma, makes the time-tested goodness of the mighty cedar ours to enjoy today.
